BELMONT FARM
BELMONT FARM

This woodland garden was established by Annetjie Moolman who has now retired to the village. Annetjie's daughter-in-law Ria, who created a beautiful garden at Glen Ross, has moved to Belmont with her husband and family. Belmont is responding fast to her boundless creative energy. Ria is one of our most ardent young rose growers. Plant sales, "Out of Wire" garden ornaments for sale. Bring your own picnic and enjoy it in the shade.

A homestead was first established here in the early 1800s so Barrie Pringle is gardening on rich sediments of history. Massed formal plantings of roses and glorious lawns are complemented by huge trees. A framed view onto the arid mountain beyond provides a striking contrast.
Plants for sale. Teas will be served from 10am to 12 noon and 3 to 5pm, proceeds to the Christian Care Group.

This artist’s garden is set under a grove of stately silver birches. The hellebores are part of a family tradition. The colourful plant-filled courtyard with hanging baskets is a refuge from the fierce weather – winds, heat, cold. The trade bead studio will be open. Beads for sale include Ethiopian amber and silver.

LOWER CLIFTON FARM
A feast of hellebores, inviting shady nooks for meals al fresco and a clever curving design are all part of the charm of this family garden. A vast prunus is just one of the impressive trees. Glen has propagated many of her own plants

Attention to detail, a youthful imagination and a delight in the wide variety of plants she can persuade to grow are some of Griet Marais' many strengths as a gardener. Her immaculate garden is filled with interesting plants set in a clever and unconventional structure with charming garden ornaments. The vegetable garden is an inspiration.

The most extensive collection of peonies in the area is one of the extraordinary features of this peaceful retreat set in a dramatic mountain landscape. Wild birds enjoy as much as visitors do, so linger and look carefully. The Cawoods run Clifton Horse Trails.
